PE Days
- PE in 5/6E will take place on Monday.
- PE in 5/6 SC will take place on a Monday.
- PE in 5/6AC will be on Wednesday and Friday.
- Spring Term 1 only (Rainbow PE) all classes on Thursday.

Homework in Y5/6
All homework is set via Google Classroom.
Reading
Please encourage your child to read at least 3 times a week and record this in their reading record. This half term the children are working towards their Gold reading challenge.
Spelling
Each week the children are set spellings to practice. These will usually be a mix of the 5/6 common exception or statutory words (the words children are expected to know how to spell by the end of Y6) and words containing the spelling pattern they are learning in class that week. Children will be tested on Thursday. Miss Evans supported group for spelling. Mrs Cookson year 5 and Mrs Cave year 6 spelling group.
Maths
We would like the children to complete the following maths tasks each week:
*An activity linked to learning in class.
*We also encourage the children to use TT Rockstars for at least 10 minutes every week.
Submitting homework
Children have the opportunity to upload to Google Classroom or hand a paper copy in, whichever is easiest for your child.
